Tewksbury - Tewksbury pageant queen Rachel Pruyne, 12, started the new year off with a pop — iPOP, that is.
The International Presentation Of Performers (iPOP) convention was held from Jan. 3-8 at the Hyatt Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Pruyne, the reigning National American Miss Massachusetts Preteen, attended and competed in the iMODEL division. Her performance at the convention was seen by many agents, managers and casting directors in the entertainment industry. She competed against girls from around the globe with over 180 participants in her age division. Her accomplishments at iPOP include top 10 in best headshot, top 10 in swimwear, third runner-up in runway and top 10 in model of the year. She also received “call backs” from several agents and casting companies
The International Presentation of Performers’ purpose is to develop and present new talent to top industry professionals.
Although Pruyne and her family said they don’t have any immediate plans to relocate to California, Pruyne said she is serious about succeeding in the entertainment business and she said will continue to work hard with her acting and modeling.
